Delete your MudMeet account
Permanently remove your account from inside the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Delete in the app (recommended)
- Open MudMeet and sign in to the account you want to remove.
- Go to your Profile tab (bottom navigation).
- Tap the Settings icon (gear).
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Read the warning, type Delete to confirm, and tap Delete account again.
- If you signed up with email and password, enter your password when prompted.
You must be signed in. After confirmation, your account and associated data are removed right away.
Can't sign in?
If you cannot access the app, email us from the address on your MudMeet account and ask us to delete it. We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request.

What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, MudMeet permanently removes data tied to your profile, including:
- Account credentials and sign-in information (email, OAuth linkage)
- Profile information (username, photo, bio, riding style, rigs)
- Posts, comments, stories, likes, and other content you created
- Events and rides you created or joined
- Marketplace listings you posted
- Direct messages and crew chat participation tied to your account
- Photos and videos you uploaded to MudMeet storage
- Push notification tokens and in-app preferences
- Approximate location data associated with your account (for example, "Near Me" features)
What may be kept
- Backups: Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days, then is purged automatically.
- Legal and safety records: We may retain limited information where required by law or to investigate abuse, fraud, or security issues.
- Other users' content: Messages you sent may appear to other users as coming from a deleted account; their copies are not removed from other users' devices.
- Aggregated analytics: De-identified, aggregated usage statistics that cannot identify you may be retained.
